Hollywood Sees Red

Blockbuster “Passion” Makes Awards List

The surprise blockbuster of 2004 “The Passion of the Christ” made the Hollywood Oscar list but not in the categories that many had hoped for. “Passion” is included in the Achievement in Cinematography category, Achievement in Makeup category and Best Original Score category. This may or may not please those red state voters many of whom had hoped for higher accolades for the Mel Gibson classic. Also of note, Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 911” the Anti-American, Anti-military propaganda film from America’s number one Bush hater was left off of the Oscar list.
