Schiavo Case Highlights In-Law Tensions

Those darned Shiavo’s… the nerve of them to insist that their daughter live! The nerve that they do not wish for her to die a slow painful death!
I am utterly disgusted that “David Crary” from the AP would be so insensitive to the Shiavo family and to those who see this as murder and not a family spat!
Shame on the AP! That this issue would be reduced to a mere spat among in-laws and not a life or death situation in the eyes of many is utterly disgusting. This goes way over the line of common decency and sensitivity.
Update: (8:15 PM) I knew it! I just knew that Polipundit would be all over this story. Lorie has a link to this post in a terrific collection of postings on the Shiavo story. Hannity and Colmes are interviewing the family right now and they are saying that they still do not know what put their sister in a coma. It was never accurately investigated according to the siblings. And, they would not rule out the possiblity of abuse by her husband.
Update: (6:00 AM Wednesday) Atlanta Court will not intervene.
