The Sgrena Case

The US verses Giuliana “They napalmed Fallujah” Sgrena

Defendent– The United States

U.S. officials said the soldiers followed their rules of engagement in firing on the car as it moved toward a checkpoint and should not be punished.

CBS news has reported that a U.S. satellite had filmed the shooting and that it had been established the car carrying Calipari was travelling at more than 60 miles (96 km) per hour as it approached the U.S. checkpoint in Baghdad.

Prosecution– Giuliana “They Napalmed Fallujah” Sgrena

Sgrena and the car’s driver have both said that the vehicle was traveling slowly and shots were fired at the same time the warning lights appeared. Calipari was escorting the journalist to Baghdad airport at night after winning her release from kidnappers.

Two different stories… One side says that the car was speeding at them and they have satellite images to back up the speed of the car during the incident. The other side is a Communist writer for Il Manifesto who was in Iraq for the sole purpose of writing deflammatory articles for her very Anti-American rag. She has already written without any kind of proof or any witnesses, etc. the ridiculous story that the US was napalming Fallujah:

We buried them, but we could not identify them because they were charred from the napalm bombs used by the Americans». People from Saqlawiya village, near Falluja, told al Jazeera television, based in Qatar, that they helped bury 73 bodies of women and children completely charred, all in the same grave. The sad story of common graves, which started at Saddam’s times, is not yet finished. Nobody could confirm if napalm bombs have been used in Falluja, but other bodies found last year after the fierce battle at Baghdad airport were also completely charred and some thought of nuclear bombs. No independent source could verify the facts, since all the news arrived until now are those spread by journalists embedded with the American troops, who would only allow British and American media to enrol with them (as if the US MSM is so Pro-US with their bias. Has she never heard of the New York Times?) But the villagers who fled in the last few days spoke of many bodies which had not been buried: it was too dangerous to collect the corpses during the battle…

And, sadly with the Anti-American world press led by many of the US main stream media outlets this hideous woman is going to be propped up by the MSM. Her lies will remain unchallenged by not just Aljazeera, but CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX,… while the heroes who are risking their lives to bring a better future to Iraq and the world are scorned.
