I just woke up from a nap and see Barbara Boxer lecturing on CSPAN. Then I check out the blogosphere and hear that the Republicans are Caving on the Constitutional Option… This is just too painful to witness. There must be a good Runaway Bride Story playing somewhere!
Update: Compromise! Out of respect for the Republican Party Leadership and the wonderful example they set today, I made my own compromise tonight… I have been boycotting Ben & Jerry’s ice cream for political reasons but after this wonderful night of Republican Party compromise, I decided to go get me some “Chunky Monkey” (no offense, Red and Tom! )… Time for me to let bygones be bygones, and it helps ease the pain as I watch Senator Harry Reid gloat on television and have the audacity to demand the president to “Show some humility!”
