Iran Claims "Sunni" Snipers Are Working in Lebanon

As if the situation in Lebanon is not tense enough already…
In a shocking report at al-Menar news, Hezbollah photographers catch a Sunni sniper in the act!

The Iranian Fars News Service is spreading a “report” from the Hezbollah’s news service al-Menar TV that an arrested sniper belongs to Hariri’s Sunni al-Mostaqbal organization:

The Lebanese army arrested a sniper affiliated to the al-Mostaqbal party – led by Saad Harriri – on charges of opening fire on the protesting students of al-Arabiah University.

According to FNA dispatches from Beirut, proponents of the ruling coalition March 14 have opened fire on people from rooftops and windows and killed and wounded a large number of unarmed people who were protesting against the policies of Siniora’s government.

The Lebanese TV station al-Menar has just broadcast footages of armed assaults on civilians from a well-known café in Tariq al-Jadidah.

The café owner, Hassan Seydani, has refrained from commenting on the pictures.

Proponents of al-Mostaqbal also last night strove to attack a congregation of the opposition in two squares in Beirut, but they had to retreat after facing a strong resistance by the public.

Al-Menar TV disclosed that the sniper is the Sunni owner of the Damerji café in Beirut:

According to information received by al-Manar from reliable security sources, arrests undertaken by the Lebanese army showed that a number of those involved in Thursday’s shootings were in fact organizational members of the Future Movement, such as Mazen Samir Ammar, who was caught with his face covered utilizing a machine gun near the Arab University.

The Lebanese daily Assafir published a picture of an individual called Hasan Sidani, a Future Movement official who owns the Damerji café, while shooting at opposition supporters, also near the Arab University.

Naharnet reported on Friday that officials arrested a Syrian sniper during the university riots Thursday in Beirut.
