Belarus Jails Democracy Activists

About two dozen brave democracy activists were arrested today in the last remaining dictatorship in Europe. They were protesting outside the trial of fellow activist Yaroslau Hryshchenya.

Charter 97 is reporting that the protesters were beaten up by the police at their arrest.
