Code Pink Founder: "I Don't Need Soldiers to Protect Me"

Code Pink founder, Saddam Hussein human shield, and Hugo Chavez admirer, Medea Benjamin was on Hannity and Colmes tonight to discuss the recent assault by Code Pink activists on a US Marine Recruiter’s Office in Berkeley, California.

Here’s part of the exchange tonight on Hannity and Colmes:

Sean Hannity: You do understand but for the United States military, brave men and women, that you would not have the ability to go out there and protest and do this, and go to General Petraeus’s hearing, you do understand that don’t you?

Medea Benjamin: No I don’t Sean. I actually think it’s people like myself who have been fighting for our rights to free speech… and I prefer to defend my own right to free speech and not have soldiers doing it for me. I don’t think I need soldiers.

For a woman who says that free speech is so important she sure has been arrested enough times trying to silence the opposition’s free speech!
She must be talking about “her” free speech.
