A Nation In Mourning– Benazir Bhutto Is Laid To Rest

Dawn News has the latest from Pakistan following the assassination yesterday of Benazir Bhutto.

Moments before the assassination…

This photo was taken by Bhutto photographer John Moore (Photos HERE) moments before her death as she was leaving the massive speech she gave in Rawalpindi. This looks like a very dangerous position for any politician.

Doug Ross has the photo sequence posted of the moments before Bhutto’s death.

The Pakistani Interior Minister blamed the sunroof lever on her death not the bomber:

When she ducked, she hit the lever of the sunroof of the car that was to speed her away from a campaign rally as she was gearing up to contest parliamentary elections set for January 8.

“The lever struck near her right ear and fractured her skull,” Cheema said. “There was no bullet or metal shrapnel found in the injury.”

The mainstream media is reporting today on Al-Qaeda’s role in the assassination.

32 people were reportedly killed in rioting following the assassination.
