Today’s interview with Katie Couric in Amman, Jordan was devastating.
Not only did he come across as cocky and confused but he totally tripped all over himself with describing the surge as a success, a failure, not necessary, and not worth it.

Barack Obama denies that he changed positions on an undivided Jerusalem.
The American Spectator reported:
Couric: You said not too long ago that Jerusalem should remain undivided. And then you backtracked on that statement. Does that play into the argument that some believe that someone more experienced would not have made that kind of mistake?
Obama: Well… if you look at what happened, there was no shift in policy or backtracking in policy. We just had phrased it poorly in the speech. That has happened and will happen to every politician. You’re not always gonna hit your mark in terms of how you phrase your policies. But my policy hasn’t changed, and it’s been very consistent. It’s the same policy that Bill Clinton has put forward, and that says that Jerusalem will be the capital of Israel, that we shouldn’t divide it by barbed wire, but that, ultimately that is … a final status issue that has to be resolved between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
Unreal.

There is no question what Obama told the AIPAC audience.

Obama: “Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided,” Obama thundered in his AIPAC speech earning an ovation from the 7,000-plus attendees at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee policy conference.
On CNN the following day, however, he was singing a different tune. “Well, obviously, it’s going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations,” he said when asked whether Palestinians had no future claim to the city.
Yet, today Obama had the nerve to tell Katie Couric that he never switched positions on Jerusalem.
And, he never batted an eye!
UPDATE: Hmm. Maybe people are finally starting to pay attention to Obama.
His poll numbers are dropping- it’s all tied up.
