Dear Friends,
The Third Jihad is the second film following OBSESSION . A part of this film was shot during the Secular Islam Summit that myself, Ibn Warraq, Dr. Michael Ledeen, Valentina Colombo and Austin Dacey organized in St. Petersburg, Florida, in March 2007. Several of our conference’s speakers, secular-minded and liberal Muslims or people who grew up in majority-Muslim countries are featured in this film. It is an absolute must see as it is filled with facts and documentation that spells out the danger that we all face with Islamo-Imperialism. I wish more people had been interviewed still but the effort made by the producers, so far, in producing the two films is excellent. I’m hoping that we will see more and more follow-ups to these films where outspoken and brave liberal Muslims or apostates of Islam can be heard.
I am especially proud because my mother, Manda Zand-Ervin, Iranian activist and scholar as well as my five dear friends, Ms. Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld, Ms. Clare Lopez, Dr. Tawfik Hamid and Dr. Walid Phares are also featured in this film.
Please see this film or at least peruse through the site and tell everyone who is willing to lend an ear, about this project. Movie theaters, Cable channels and video stores are not forthcoming (for fear of threats and retaliation) in showing these two films and the only way they can be heard of and seen, is through your kind support.
