Team Obama Was For Peace Deals With the Taliban Before They Were Against Them–
The Telegraph, via ROP, reported in February that Obama backed the “sharia law for peace” deal announced in Pakistan.
The deal allowed Sharia law to be introduced in the Malakhand and Kohistan districts of Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province if Taliban militants ended their armed campaign in the Swat Valley.
It didn’t work.
But that was back in February…
Now, here’s Hillary Clinton this week as reported at Dawn.com:
On Wednesday, Clinton warned in extremely strong language that Pakistan, the key US anti-terror ally, was ‘basically abdicating to the Taliban and to the extremists’ with an agreement permitting Sharia law in the Swat valley.
Now that’s change!
Funny, any 5 year-old could have seen that the peace deal wouldn’t work.
But, not Obama.
