The St. Louis Post Dispatch reported today that they were the #1 news source in St. Louis with 3.17 unique visitors each month. The PD reported that KSDK was #2 with nearly 1.2 million visitors each month:
We received an interesting press release from KSDK yesterday that helped to put STLtoday.com’s dominance of the St. Louis market in perspective.
The release said : “Ksdk.com continues to be St. Louis’ home page. The website had robust content surrounding the All-Star festivities. For the month of July, ksdk.com enjoyed nearly 12 million page views and almost 1.2 million unique visitors to the site. “
Interesting numbers. According to online ratings service Omniture, STLtoday.com had more than 56 million page views and more than 3.17 million unique visitors in July.
By those numbers, KSDK is still about 2 million visitors and 44 million page views shy of being able to call itself “St. Louis’ home page.”
Gateway Pundit blog had 1,266,001 visitors in July.
That would move it into the #2 slot.
As far as breaking news goes… Gateway Pundit is currently ranked #54 on the Memeorandum Leaderboard.
The St. Louis Post Dispatch did not make the list.
Not bad for a conservative blog that is completely ignored by the local media, huh?
UPDATE: GP is now at #12 on the Wikio Top Blogs list.
