Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA), wants a hearing into why the VA is still using the end-of-life guide “Your Life, Your Choices,” the so-called “Death Book” for Veterans.
Specter announced that he will call for a hearing on the controversy:
President Bush suspended the veteran’s “death book” last year.
Unfortunately, Barack Obama reinstated the practice for veterans earlier this year.
The book asks veterans to decide whether their own life would be “not worth living” under certain guilt inducing scenarios.
