Harry Reid lied about his awful attacks on President Bush, General Petraeus and our troops during the Iraq War tonight in his debate. Reid said he made his horrible statement, “This war is lost,” before the surge began. That is a lie. Bush proposed the surge in January 2007. Harry Reid made his infamous remark in April 2007 after our troops were deployed to the region. You lie, Harry Reid.
Sharron Angle tonight demanded that he apologize for demoralizing the troops.
Harry Reid also said he was General Petraeus’s friend.
