Oh, what fun…
Bill Clinton and Kendrick Meek will hold a rally tonight in Orlando. It will be their first rally together since Clinton told Meek to drop out.
Bill Clinton urged black democrat Meek to “be a hero” and quit last week.
This ought to be convincing.
The Orlando Sentinel reported:
Congressman Kendrick Meek, the Democratic nominee, joined supporters on Colonial Drive for some sign waving around midday. Meek returns tonight for a rally at Lake Eola with former President Bill Clinton, gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink and other party officials.
Meek’s opponents also were at get-out-the vote rallies that neatly summed up the difference between running with party support and running as an independent.
