Top Penn Democrat Says Clinton More Effective Than Obama in State

Pennsylvania Governor Rendell says Bill Clinton was more effective in his state than Barack Obama. The fact that Obama thinks Pennsylvanians are bitter Bible-thumpin, gun-humpin hicks probably doesn’t help him much.

Former President Clinton has been better on the campaign trail in Pennsylvania than President Obama, Gov. Rendell (D) said.

Former President Clinton has been a better tool on the campaign trail for Democrats in Pennsylvania than President Obama has, Gov. Ed Rendell (D) said Monday.

Rendell — a staunch Clinton ally — explained that the 42nd president’s usefulness on the campaign trail stems from his popularity among voters of all political stripes and the prosperity the nation enjoyed under his tutelage.
