“Metro East Miracle” Victorious Elections – Bold Leadership.
People are excited and the expectations are high. Eastside conservatives are throwing an event Wednesady in the Metro East with Gov. Pawlenty and local political superstars. The event is on April 27th at the Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL. It starts at noon.
Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, widely considered to be a leading candidate for President, has agreed to be the keynote speaker. Governor Pawlenty is a bold leader who has experience winning tough elections in a blue, blue state. Pawlenty won two terms as governor in the land of Hubert Humphrey, Walter Mondale and Eugene McCarthy. Minnesota had crushing debt and runaway spending just like Illinois does today. Without raising taxes, Pawlenty dramatically reformed government, cut spending and put Minnesota back on track.
The fundraiser will benefit Republican Sen. Sam McCann, Sen. Kyle McCarter, Rep. Dwight Kay and the For The Good of Illinois PAC. The luncheon will showcase the trio. Hope you can make it!
