In the 2010 election Republicans took several Wisconsin state offices in a wave election.

In the April 2011 election the conservative candidate Justice David Prosser won the supreme court position by .5{c18972fae7bad54fccba2a5109f73c6e4ffe73508739d7249e14c4c49d351322} of the vote despite the nuclear firestorm the left hurled at him.
