Nine months after the revolution that toppled President Hosni Mubarak, tens of thousands of Islamists jammed Tahrir Square on Friday. The Islamists held a pray rally then protested against the efforts by Egypt’s military rulers to retain power just a week before the first parliamentary elections.
Today’s rally was dominated by the country’s most organized political group, the Muslim Brotherhood.
