BOMB THREAT At Scott Air Force Base in Illinois

A building at Scott Air Force Base near St. Louis was evacuated today due to a bomb threat.
FOX2 Now reported:

A building on Scott Air Force base has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Authorities said around 1 p.m. Friday an individual reported a bomb threat to Building 1530. The building was evacuated and a cordon was established.

The school gate at the base is not open, but the pedestrian gate is available.

All outbound gates are open.

UPDATE: The threat was made verbally by a former female employee. That person was taken into custody at the 375th Air Mobility Wing Headquarters Building this afternoon.
