At Friday Prayers, Iranian Cleric Threatens to Target Tel Aviv

At prayers on Friday, the Head of the Policy-Making Council of Iran’s Friday Prayer Leaders threatened to target Tel Aviv if Israel makes the slightest aggression against the Islamic regime.
Fars News reported:

Head of the Policy-Making Council of Iran’s Friday Prayers Leaders Hojjatoleslam Seyed Reza Taqavi warned the Zionist regime to stay away from any foolish act against Iran, stressing that Tehran will target Tel-Aviv in case Israel makes the slightest aggression against the Islamic Republic.

“If Israel makes a mistake, we will attack the heart of Tel-Aviv from Tehran,” Taqavi said on Friday.

“They do not dare to damage our nuclear centers and know very well that any move against the Islamic Republic will make them regret,” he stressed.

Israel and its close ally the United States accuse Iran of seeking a nuclear weapon, while they have never presented any corroborative document to substantiate their allegations. Both Washington and Tel Aviv possess advanced weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear warheads.

Iran vehemently denies the charges, insisting that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only. Tehran stresses that the country has always pursued a civilian path to provide power to the growing number of Iranian population, whose fossil fuel would eventually run dry.
