Another anti-Syrian leader is assassinated in Lebanon–
The deadly car bomb that tore into the center of Christian East Beirut on Friday was likely a targeted assassination. Eight people died and nearly eighty were injured including top Lebanese security official. Wissam al-Hassan led the investigation into the murder of former prime minister Rafik Hariri, and implicated Syria and Hezbollah in the killing.
Today Wissam al-Hassan was murdered in a car bombing.
The Syrian regime has a long history of murdering Lebanese politicians who stand in their way.
