On Tuesday Barack Obama praised and defended the FBI and Department of Homeland Security for the investigation of Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
But what I can say is that based on what I’ve seen so far, the FBI performed its duties, the Department of Homeland Security did what it was supposed to be doing.
Yet now we know that the US was warned by Russia and Saudi Arabia that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a dangerous radicalized Muslim. And even the bomber’s mother Zubeidat Tsarnaeva was on the terrorist watch list.
But Obama thinks the FBI and DHS performed their duties.
And four Americans are dead.
UPDATE: The White House said the Saudis did not warn them on Tamerlan.
