Protesters gathered in Cairo’s Tahrir Square on Friday, calling for the resignation of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, whose photo they burned and trod underfoot. The protesters carried a massive banner saying, “Obama supports terrorism.”

The protesters also torched US Ambassador Ann Patterson’s picture. They believe the Obama administration is siding with the Morsi government.
The Anti-Morsi protesters were outraged with the US Administration for siding with the Muslim Brotherhood and for telling telling Christian Copts to refrain from protesting Morsi.
On Sunday Egyptian protesters expressed anger and contempt for the Obama administration as they took to the streets in Cairo.
The protesters carried signs telling US Ambassador Patterson to, “Go to hell!” (Al Ahram)
