Oprah Admits She Kept Her Distance From Friend Paula Deen During N-Word Meltdown (Video)

Oprah Winfrey is making the media rounds promoting “The Butler” and talking racism in America. She’s upset about poor customer service she received in Switzerland. She also dumped on her friend Paula Deen, whose home she had stayed at when she interviewed her for Oprah’s Next Chapter show,

“In the very first days I tried to reach her and then I decided to stay out of it as I saw it blowing up. In time she will be fine. For me, it all just felt kind of sad.”

What are friends for?

Deen admitted to using the n-word in 1986 after a bank robber held a gun to her head.
