Hero Ted Cruz: Shutdown was “Absolutely a Mistake for President Obama and Harry Reid” (Video)

ABC’s Jonathon Karl attacked Senator Ted Cruz today blaming the Texas conservative for the government shutdown. Ted Cruz wasn’t buying it.
“I think it was absolutely a mistake for President Obama and Harry Reid to force a government shutdown.”

Jonathan Karl is an embarrassment.
He might as well be working for the DNC.

Cruz blamed Obama and Harry Reid for the shutdown. They refused to negotiate.
Talking Points Memo reported:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Sunday placed blame for the government shutdown in October on Democratic leadership.

“I think it was absolutely a mistake for President Obama and Harry Reid to force a government shutdown,” Cruz said during an interview with ABC’s “This Week” at the infamous Capitol Hill restaurant Tortilla Coast.

Before the shutdown, Cruz prepared to blame Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) for the government closing if the Democrat refused to negotiate with Cruz on an Obamacare repeal.

In the interview with ABC, Cruz shrugged off a comment that House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) blamed conservative groups for the shutdown.

“I can’t help what other people say,” Cruz said.
