Minutes after Team USA hockey’s T.J. Oshie scored in the eighth round of a shootout against Russia on Saturday morning, he scored major points off the ice as well. Pittsburgh Tribune-Review columnist Dejan Kovacevic happened to mention to Oshie that he was an American hero – The St. Louis Blues player quickly corrected him:
