Virginia Democrat suggests killing Sarah Palin and Michelle Malkin on Twitter.
The Examiner reported:
After being absent from Twitter for an unknown reason, Mike Dickinson, the Virginia Democrat who wants the House seat currently held by Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., issued a vile tweet Thursday attacking former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, conservative columnist Michelle Malkin and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Raw Storyreported Friday.
“Picking between @GOPLeader Eric cantor & tea @DaveBratVA7th is like a (expletive deleted), Marry, Kill between @michellemalkin @ehasselbeck & @SarahPalinUSA,” he tweeted. A few minutes earlier, he issued a tweet saying “trash” like Malkin are “‘women’ in name only.”
The message sparked anger from a number of people who took offense at Dickinson’s misogynistic and somewhat threatening message.
Raw Story explained the tweet references a game young people play on Twitter where they must declare whether they would have sex, marry or kill the people being mentioned. A post at Urban Dictionarysays the game “is not intended for literal thoughts,” but some took Dickinson’s message as an implied threat.
