A prominent Iraqi female Sunni politician was killed defending her country from ISIS terrorists. She was wielding an RPG when she was killed by a sniper.

A prominent female political figure has been killed while personally leading the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham in the north of the country, according to the Iraqi authorities.

Startling photographs of Umayyah Naji Jabara, an adviser to the governor of Salahuddin province, posing with a Kalashnikov rifle were posted online in tribute to her after her death.

The daughter of a prominent Sunni tribal leader killed by al-Qaeda seven years ago, she was said to have been wielding a rocket-propelled grenade launcher when she was hit by a sniper.
