Umm…for some stories, there just are no words.
EAGnews.org reports:
Louisiana High school teacher Derrick Nesby, 37, was already in hot water for having sex with a 16-year-old student. Today, his bond was raised after it was found that Nesby “intentionally” exposed the teen “to the AIDS virus,” as reported at HoumaToday.
Nesby, a H.L. Bourgeois High School teacher and boys track coach, is still featured on the school’s website.
HoumaToday.com reports:
Nesby remained in the Terrebonne jail this morning on bonds totaling $1 million.
On May 9, detectives received a complaint alleging Nesby was involved sexually with one of his students, Larpenter said. Detectives questioned and released Nesby before obtaining a warrant.
School officials said today that Nesby, who taught at H.L. Bourgeois for a year, was fired after the allegations emerged.
The teacher has reportedly denied the allegations.
