Dr. Ben Carson, a climbing star in conservative politics, went on FOX News Sunday to discuss the crisis in Ferguson, Missouri. Carson said Michael Brown’s death was not about race but more about personal responsibility.
“If you take race out of it altogether. And if you take a group of young men and you raise them with no respect for authority, not learning how to take on personal responsibility, having easy access to drugs and alcohol. They’re very likely to end up as victims of violence and incarcerations. This has nothing to do with raise. But we need to look at bigger issues here.”
