The New York Daily News reports NYCops can fly free of charge to New York to attend the funeral for NYPD Officer Rafael Ramos — gunned down with fellow Officer Wenjian Liu — thanks to hometown airline JetBlue.
The Queens-based company announced Wednesday that it would allow two officers with each department across the nation to fly its network.
The funeral for Ramos will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Christ Tabernacle Church in Glendale, Queens.
A representative with the NYPD 25th Precinct thanked JetBlue on Twitter for offering to fly “any police officer in America” to the service.
