A St. Charles man was arrested after choking his wife on Christmas morning with an empty wrapping paper tube. The woman said she blacked out during the attack.

A St. Charles County man is accused of choking his wife Christmas morning with an empty wrapping paper tube.
Officer Melissa Doss with the St. Peters Police Department confirms David Hampton is charged with second-degree domestic assault.
According to the probable cause statement, Hampton used the cardboard tube to choke his wife in their home.
