Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, told Chris Wallace on FOX News Sunday the Obama administration has a “policy of willful ignorance” in the Middle East.
My sense of where the policy is it’s almost a policy of willful ignorance. And, to me, we have some major problems that we are dealing with. And here we are talking to Iran about a nuclear deal with this almost complete breakdown of order in the Middle East… Iran is still a state sponsor of terrorism and here we are dealing with them as though we are giving them a carte blanche. I know it’s going to be some years before they have a nuclear capability. I mean, give me a break.
