One police officer was shot in the shoulder and the other was shot in the face. The shots were fired from a minimum of 150 years away from the police station.

St. Louis County Police Chief John Belmar held a press conference Thursday morning. Belmar told reporters:

Anytime you take a bullet and it’s a shot to the face, it’s a hard hit.

Police Chief Belmar also told reporters, “We could’ve buried two police officers.”
