On Wednesday Democrats blocked the Keystone Pipeline.
Democrats want more gas shipped by railcar.
Multiple tanker rail cars carrying crude oil derailed in February in Fayette County, West Virginia, triggering explosions and a 100-yard-high flames.
On Thursday eight more railcars carrying gas exploded near Galena, Illinois.

The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reported:
A firefighter near the scene of a derailed BNSF Railway train in rural Jo Daviess County said crude oil is burning after the wreck.
No injuries have been reported.
Multiple Illinois agencies have responded to the derailment, including fire departments from Galena, East Dubuque and Menominee-Dunleith. Grant County, Wis., hazardous material responders are on scene, as are firefighters from Dubuque.
The train derailed south of Galena at approximately 1:20 p.m., according to a statement from BSNF…
…Local responders say eight cars derailed this afternoon about three miles south of Galena.
Galena City Administrator Mark Moran said Galena fire crews responded to reports of a derailment early this afternoon.
“The report that came back to me from them is that eight tanker cars had left the track,” he said. “Two of those were still upright, the other six were not. They observied at least one of those tankers smoking.”
The Keystone Pipeline project was expected to create tens of thousands of high paying jobs in the oil industry. The project itself would create 20,000 construction jobs. And the pipeline would bring oil from Canada and North Dakota to refineries in the United States.
Obama rejected the plan in 2011.
In February Obama vetoed legislation that approved construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
On Wednesday Democrats blocked the project again.
