On Friday mornign Cincinnati police officer Sonny Kim was killed in a shootout.
Kim was an immigrant to the United States from South Korea.
Kim was a husband and the father of three, a martial arts instructor. (Cincinnati.com)
It was the first time a Cincinnati officer was killed in the line of duty since 2000.
Supporters remembered Officer Kim this weekend.

The family was SHOCKED that their rapper son was killed by police despite is lengthy police record.
Trepierre had a police record that included, armed robbery, burglary and sexual assault.
On Friday family members interrupted a prayer vigil for Officer Sonny Kim.

Trepierre wrote a good-bye message on Facebook, called 911 on himself, then shot Officer Kim when he responded to the call.
