Mt. Zion AME Church TORCHED in South Carolina–
This is the seventh church set on fire since the Charleston AME church shooting.
WFMY reported:
Emergency officials say crews are currently battling a church fire in Williamsburg County Tuesday.
According to WFMY News 2 sister station WCSC, the fire is at the Mount Zion AME Church on Mackey Road in Greeleyville.
Authorities said they received the call regarding the fire around 9 p.m.
No cause for the fire has been released yet.
A member of the church told WCSC this is the second fire at the church since 1995, when the KKK set fire to the old building.
