SHOCK: ISIS Flags Displayed in London Near Big Ben Days Before 7/7 Anniversary

British media is reporting that a man and child were recently seen displaying ISIS flags in a London tourist area outside Parliament Square near Big Ben.

Photographs making the rounds online show a man with a large ISIS flag draped across his back with a small girl sitting on his shoulders who is waving a small ISIS flag. The photos reprtedly first surfaced on a Korean forum.

The Daily Mirror reported that the incident took place on Saturday and that police spoke to the man with the ISIS flag but decided he was breaking no laws even though just one week after an ISIS supporter massacred dozens of British tourists at a beach resort in Tunisia.

The in-your-face display of the ISID flag in the heart of London also came a few days before the tenth anniversary of the 7/7 terror attacks in London.

“Metropolitan Police have confirmed to Mirror.co.uk that the man was stopped by officers but they could not do anything because he was not breaking the law.

“The spokesman said: “This man was spoken to by officers with consideration given to relevant legislation and a decision was taken by officers at the time that the man was acting within the law. He was not arrested.”

“He added: “Wearing, carrying or displaying of an emblem or flag, by itself, is not an offence unless; the way in which, or the circumstance in which, the emblem is worn, carried or displayed is such as to cause reasonable suspicion that the person is a supporter or member of a proscribed organisation.

“”While support of and membership of ISIS is unlawful it is not a criminal offence to advocate the creation of an independent state.””

The July 7, 2005 terror attacks targeted the public transportation system in London with four coordinated suicide bomb attacks that killed 52 and wounded over 700.
