People are still reacting to the awful performance of CNBC’s debate moderators in last night’s GOP debate. RNC chairman Reince Priebus lashed out at the network, calling the event disappointing.
Politico reports:
Reince Priebus blasts CNBC: They ‘should be ashamed’
Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus went straight into the spin room after the third GOP debate wrapped up, and ripped into CNBC.
“I’m very disappointed in the moderators, and I’m very disappointed in CNBC,” Priebus said, blasting “gotcha questions” and the “hostile” environment of the debate.
“CNBC should be ashamed of how this debate was handled,” he tweeted soon after.
Here’s a video of Priebus commenting to the press after the debate was over:
Of course, many people are pointing out that Priebus deserves some of the blame for trusting the network to conduct a fair debate.
These moderators are the worst I have ever seen. Bar none. Reince Priebus should be fired. https://t.co/fEK5QSTgSi

Seeing @Reince complain about the debates is like @potus complaining about the economy.

This debate made @Reince look bad. He promised this wouldn't happen.
ACTION is required and I suspect we'll get it.
NBC blew it bigtime.
