Many activists spent the night there. It’s not clear at this point how many faculty members joined them.

The uprising was organized by a group of student activists to address “the negative social climate created towards our peers of color and other marginalized groups,” and to stand in solidarity with Mizzou protesters.
The #AmherstUprising leaders released a list of demands .
They want to scrap the First Amendment.

The fascist group also wants “free speech” protesters to be disciplined.
