The White House isn’t even trying to hide their disregard for national security anymore. When it comes to Bowe Bergdahl, the alleged military traitor, the Obama administration says ‘there’s a lot of sensitivity’ around the issue.
(CNSNews.com) – “Unfortunately in this instance, I’m very, very limited in what I can say about this ongoing matter,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said on Monday. He was responding to the Army’s announcement that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will face charges of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy in a general court-martial.
“This is a case that is currently working its way through the military justice process,” Earnest said. “And as the spokesperson for the commander in chief, there’s a lot of sensitivity about the potential for influencing the outcome of that military justice proceeding.
Great to see the White House is handling the issue with such transparency.
