Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump will reportedly announce Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate, according to a source with knowledge of the selection.
The vice presidential pick, which will be made official during an event at Trump Tower on Friday morning, was revealed by Roll Call Thursday afternoon.
According to Roll Call, “Trump was reportedly impressed with Pence’s calm demeanor, his experience on Capitol Hill … and Pence’s potential to assist Trump in governing.”
The New York Times also reported “advisers have told national Republican officials that they are preparing to make an announcement with Mr. Pence.”
