DONALD TRUMP On QB Kaepernick: Maybe He Should Find a Country ‘That Works Better for Him’ (AUDIO)

San Francisco 49er’s quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the playing of the national anthem at a preseason game on Friday.

Kaepernick sat by the water and Gatorade coolers instead.

He said it was in protest of what he deems are wrongdoings against African Americans and minorities in the United States.

For the record—
America is soooo racist that Kaepernick only got a $144 million six year contract with the 49er’s.

On Sunday Kaepernick said he will continue to sit during the National Anthem because there is a lack of regard for the deaths of African-American citizens at the hands of police.

On Monday Donald Trump weighed in on the controversy saying Colin Kaepernick should find a country “that works better for him.”
Talking Points Memo reported:

Donald Trump suggested that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick leave the country for another “that works better for him” after he protested criticisms of police violence against people of color, BuzzFeed News reported Monday.

During an interview on the conservative radio show “The Dori Monson Show,” Trump said that he was up to speed on the firestorm Kaepernick kicked up when he refused to stand for the national anthem as an act of protest against police brutality.

“I have followed it and I think it’s personally not a good thing,” Trump said in the interview flagged by Buzzfeed News. “I think it’s a terrible thing, and you know, maybe he should find a country that works better for him, let him try, it won’t happen.”
