President-Elect Trump Saluted by Firefighters as He Leaves New York for Meeting with President Obama

President-Elect Donald Trump flew out of New York City’s LaGuardia Airport Thursday morning aboard his private jet Trump Force One. As the plane taxied for takeoff firefighters paid their respects to Trump with a traditional water cannon salute. Nearby, a group of firefighters and officials enthusiastically waved to Trump as the plane rolled by them.

Video posted by Fox News reporter Dan Gallo shows Vice-President-Elect Mike Pence also was given the water cannon salute as his plane departed LaGaurdia.

“Vice President-Elect Mike Pence is DC-bound. His plane also got the Port Authority Police Dept. water salute treatment as it taxied at LGA.”

ABC News posted a clip to YouTube of the salute to Trump.
