Donald Trump Trademarks His 2020 Campaign Slogan: ‘Keep America Great!’

Trump Announces 2020 Campaign Slogan

In an interview with the Washington Post, Donald Trump coined his campaign slogan for the 2020 Presidential race.

Half way through the interview Trump shared the news with the Post’s Karen Tumulty:

From The Washington Post:

“Are you ready?” he said. “‘Keep America Great,’ exclamation point.”

“Get me my lawyer!” the president-elect shouted.

Two minutes later, one arrived.

“Will you trademark and register, if you would, if you like it — I think I like it, right? Do this: ‘Keep America Great,’ with an exclamation point. With and without an exclamation. ‘Keep America Great,’” Trump said.

“Got it,” the lawyer replied.

Trump said he wasn’t planning on to release his expression for a race that is four years away but added  “I am so confident that we are going to be, it is going to be so amazing. It’s the only reason I give it to you,” he said.
