Last week Senator John McCain bashed President Trump in front of a European audience in Germany.
On Sunday Senator McCain compared President Trump to a dictator.
On Meet the Press John McCain said of Trump,
“That’s how dictators get started… They get started by suppressing a free press. In other words, a consolidation of power when you look at history the first thing dictators do is shut down the press. And I’m not saying President Trump is trying to be a dictator I’m just saying we need to learn the lessons of history.”
John McCain believes it is irresponsible for Trump to hit back at the liberal media who have been lying and publishing fake news stories against him for the past month.
