Poll Shows Majority In U.S. Now Optimistic About Job Market For First Time In 16+ Years

New Gallup Polls Shows Americans Are Excited About The Economy

A new poll released by Gallup on Thursday shows that for the first time in over 16 years Americans are excited about finding a quality job.

From Gallup:

For the first time since Gallup began tracking the question in 2001, a majority of Americans (54% ) say it is a “good time” to find a quality job. This is up slightly from 50% in January, which was then a new high.

Gallup reports that before last months high that the previous high came before Barack Obama became President in 2008. According to Gallup the previous high was when 48% of Americans felt optimistic about the nations economic environment back in January 2007.
