Conservative firebrand and popular YouTube star Hunter Avallone exposed Hood College’s attempts to censor campus Republicans and conservatives alike.
Both in his most recent video and in a conversation today, Avallone broke down the ways college administrators, special snowflake SJWs, and liberals alike, attempt to silence conservative thought and speech on campus.
An excerpt from Avallone’s video that summarizes the situation has been transcribed:
“On Tuesday, April 18th, the college Republicans put up a board, which was approved by the college, sharing conservative quotes, values, and culture, this board featured a spectrum of ideas ranging from traditional conservative ideas to beliefs on the farther right. The idea behind the board was to foster conversation across campus about issues that are rarely talked about.”
The campus reacted in kind, leftists began bashing the Republicans/conservatives writing things like this: “This is disgusting and shameful. Hate will not make us great. The Hood College Republicans are nothing more than a racist, transphobic, xenophobic hate group.”
The quote that sent people over the edge and led to the vandalism of the board by the left is by conservative pundit Ben Shapiro and reads:
“Transgender people are unfortunately suffering from a significant mental illness that is deeply harmful, and it’s not a solution to pretend that transgender people are the sex that they think they are in their head. Biology is biology; men can’t magically become women, and women can’t magically become men.”
The college president, Andrea E. Chapdelaine, a woman with more than two decades worth of experience indoctrinating students, sent out two emails within a 48 period that read as a condemnation of campus Republicans and conservative thinkers.

Following her emails was a call for the school to gather and hold an open discussion about the events that had transpired over the past few days. Originally, media was allowed to come and film the discourse, but once the Hood PR people realized it would be a disaster for the left, Laurie Ward – the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications – for Hood enforced the rule that press would NOT be allowed to record.
When Avallone went to attend the event, Laurie was waiting with a loaded attitude, prepared to restrict free speech. She made him register as press (which Avallone was happy to do) and then she told him he was not allowed to film/record any of the event. The usual liberal flip-flop.
It must be noted, Avallone respected all procedural guidelines that were put in place.
The event went on without a hitch (because true, American conservatives cherish free speech and would not attempt to stifle discourse unlike leftists who come and disturb every event put on by the right) and at one point Avallone was approached by Errol Birch, Assistant Director and Captain of Campus Safety, who reiterated the fact that he was not allowed to record and that if he filmed anything he would be escorted out.
At one point during the event, Avallone recalled a student making tragically misinformed statements about how if you are afraid of Islamic people then you need to reevaluate your humanity (lol). After the liberal tears quit flowing and the event was over, Avallone went looking for consensual interviews outside of the room wherein press was not allowed to film.
He approached a group of individuals who quickly created a scene and Errol Birch, who was on Avallone’s tail the entire time, watching closely, escorted Avallone away from the group and told him to leave. He followed Avallone halfway to his car.
Beyond this, the campus administrators are looking for any way to restrict the free speech of conservative voices on their campus. Anonymous sources have informed us that Hood College is currently looking for ways to punish the college Republicans. This is another attack on free speech and something must be done. We cannot sit idly by while our educational institutions force liberal dogma down the throats of this nation’s student population.
