MAJOR FAIL – MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Dedicates Over Half of Her Airtime Talking About Russian Conspiracy Theories

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow wouldn’t have much of a show if she didn’t put her tinfoil hat on every night and screech about the Trump-Russia hoax.

A new report shows that over a 6 week span, 53% of her airtime was dedicated to obsessing over Donald Trumps supposed connections to Russia.

The analysis, conducted by The Intercept, found that over a recent 6 week period, spanning 28 hours, Rachel Maddow spent at least 53 percent of the show on Russia Russia Russia:

That figure is conservative, excluding segments where Russia was discussed, but was not the overarching topic.

Maddow’s Russia coverage has dwarfed the time devoted to other top issues, including Trump’s escalating crackdown on undocumented immigrants (1.3 percent of coverage); Obamacare repeal (3.8 percent); the legal battle over Trump’s Muslim ban (5.6 percent), a surge of anti-GOP activism and town halls since Trump took office (5.8 percent), and Trump administration scandals and stumbles (11 percent).

Fox News pointed out:

Just last night, Maddow reported for 19 minutes (video above) on a Guardian report which stated that British spies alerted U.S. intelligence as early as late 2015 about contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russian intelligence.

Other liberal commentators, including MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, raised a conspiracy theory after the U.S. missile strike in Syria last week.

They suggested that the events in Syria were coordinated between the U.S. and Russia as a way to distract attention from media coverage of the Trump-Russia issue.

Recent reports also claim that Rachel Maddow’s viewership is strong so we have to give her some credit. At least Maddow is in tune with her base of mentally ill liberals who can’t get enough of the Russian conspiracy theories. Thousands of liberals put their tinfoil hats on every night to watch Maddow do mental gymnastics to connect every move Trump makes to Putin. Bravo, Maddow.
